Ammo, ganja bust in St Elizabeth

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Several rounds of ammunition and a large amount of marijuana were seized yesterday in Gazeland, St Elizabeth.

According to the constabulary's Corporate Communication Unit (CCU), lawmen were on operation in the area between the hours of 11:00am and 2:30 pm, when they searched a property and found 250 rounds of 9mm ammunition, 23 assorted rounds and 80 pounds ganja.

No one has been arrested in connection with the find.

Investigations continue.
