FORTY-four-year-old Dwight Brown of 47 Warner Street, Port Maria, St Mary, died after the motorcycle he was riding crashed along the Whitehall main road in Port Maria last night

Police reports are that about 8:00 pm, Brown was one of several motorcyclists riding towards Port Maria, when on reaching a section of the Whitehall main road, he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into the guard rails along the roadway. He died on the spot.

His son, who was his pillion rider, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Port Maria Hospital. The boy was later transferred to the St Ann’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

The Port Maria Traffic Department is investigating.
