ST ANDREW, Jamaica —The police are advising motorists to expect delays along Hope Road in St Andrew due to a broken water main in the vicinity of Jamaica House and Kings House.

The extreme left lane of the eastbound traffic flow has been reportedly affected (traffic heading to Papine).

A team from the National Water Commission (NWC) is currently doing repair work however; this may not be completed in time for the afternoon peak hour traffic flow.

The police are assuring the public they will maintain a presence along with the NWC workers until the corridor returns to normalcy.
