Businessman, wife murdered in Clarendon

CLARENDON, Jamaica — The upsurge in murders continues in Clarendon with the latest victims being businessman Horace Lyn and his wife Daisy, who were shot dead at their home in May Pen yesterday evening.

According to reports from the police, residents heard loud explosions about 6:00pm and summoned the police.

The lawmen said upon their arrival, the 71-year-old businessman's body was found outside the house with gunshot wounds to the upper body while his 56-year-old wife was found with her throat slashed inside their home on Foga Road in the parish.

His licensed firearm was missing from the scene.
