Cabbie arrested for rape of 12-year-old girl

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police in Manchester have arrested a man in connection with the alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl.
Head of the Division Superintendent Lascelles Taylor said the man, a taxi operator, was arrested after reports were made to the police that he molested the child while he was carrying her home from school.
"We have him in custody and are moving to question the suspect in connection with the reports," said Taylor.
