KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) is reporting that the party's general Secretary Dr Horace Chang is resting at home after this morning's car accident in St Andrew

According to JLP Chairman Robert Montague “Dr Chang is at home and resting with family with no serious injury, we are thankful that the almighty didn't see it yet fit to take him from us and indeed from Jamaica just yet”.

Chang, along with two Close Protection Officers, was enroute to the Norman Manley Airport, when the crash occurred at the intersection of Shortwood and Grants Pen roads.

“We wish a speedy recovery to all those involved in the accident, including members of Dr Chang's security detail,” Montague said adding that he continues to implore all Jamaicans to observe the rules of the road as they traverse and go about their normal business.
