Cops find firearm in Franklyn Town

KINGSTON, Jamaica — An HS2000 9mm semi-automatic pistol with 14 rounds of ammunition was seized on Cambridge Street, Franklyn Town in Kingston yesterday, September 24, the police have reported.

The Franklyn Town Police say that a team of officers was on an operation about 2:00 pm in the area when a premises was searched and the weapon found.

Three people were taken into custody in relation to the find. Their names are however being withheld pending further investigations.
