KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Criminal Records Office (CRO) is now being operated from Shop 68, Kingston Mall, which is located at 8-10 Orange Street, in downtown Kingston.

The office had been relocated to 6-8 Orange Street after its Duke Street location was shut down due to air quality concerns.

In a statement today, National Security minister, Horace Chang said the ministry regrets the inconveniences experienced by the public.

“The commissioner of police and his team are cognizant of the situation and efforts are being made to address delayed requests and challenges with the office space,” he said.

The ministry said, until normal operations are restored, only five and 21 days services will be offered from the Kingston Mall location, which opens from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Mondays to Thursdays and from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm on Fridays.
