Thursday, October 18, 2012 | 10:47 AM

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Spanish Town Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the body of a man which was found in the vicinity of the Port Esquivel bauxite train line, just outside Old Harbour on Wednesday.

The body is believed to be in its late thirties of fair complexion, slim build and about 170 centimetres (5-feet-7 inches) long. It was clad in a red under pants.

Reports are that about 8:00am, the driver of the Bauxite train saw the body along the train line and alerted the police. Cause of death was not immediately ascertained because of the advanced state of decomposition. The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.

Anyone who might have information or who may be able to identify this man is being asked to contact the Spanish Town Police at 984-2305 or 984-2874.
