Drug deal ends in death
Thursday, October 18, 2012 | 3:12 PM
SPANISH TOWN, St Catherine — Investigators are probing reports that a possible drug deal gone sour may be the reason a 19-year-old man was chopped to death and his throat slashed in Thompson Pen, Wednesday.
The dead man has been identified as Shawn Anthony Thompson.
Police report that Thompson and another man visited the community yesterday when he was attacked.
Thompson’s associate escaped.
"Information we have received is that the man left from Central Village to purchase drugs and he was robbed and killed," police source said.
