Elletson Road Police seek assistance in identifying murder victims

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Detectives assigned to the Elletson Road Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) are seeking the public's assistance in identifying two men who were shot dead by unknown assailants in Pleasant Heights, Rockfort, Kingston 2 yesterday.

One of the bodies is of dark complexion, slim build, about 5 feet 11 inches long and appears to be in its early-forties. It was clad in a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and black and white sneakers.

The other is of brown complexion, slim build, about 5 feet 10 inches long and appears to be in its mid-thirties. It was clad in a grey and white shirt and multi-coloured shorts.

Reports are that about 11:45 pm citizens heard explosions and summoned the police who found the men with gunshot wounds.

They were subsequently pronounced dead at hospital.

The police are now appealing to anyone who may be able to identify the bodies or assist with their investigations to contact the Elletson Road CIB at 876-928-4200, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
