Firearm, ammo found on rooftop in Constant Spring

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Lawmen reportedly found a Glock pistol and several rounds of ammunition on the rooftop of a house on Park Lane in Constant Spring this morning.

According to the police's Corporate Communications Unit (CCU), the weapon was seized during a joint police/ military operation, which was conducted between the hours of 3:30 am and 9:30 am.

The firearm with a magazine containing nineteen 9mm cartridges was found during a search of the house.

CCU said no one was arrested in relation to the seizure.
