Firearm seized on Red Hills Road, two men arrested

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Two alleged robbers were nabbed and a firearm seized by members of the St Andrew Central Street Crimes Unit on Red Hills Road, Kingston 10 Friday afternoon.
Reports from the Constant Spring Police are that about 3:00 pm the two, who were reportedly riding a bicycle, robbed a youngster of his cellular phone and attempted to escape. They were however cornered by the Street Crimes Unit, which arrested them. Two cellular phones and a 38 Taurus revolver loaded with three rounds were taken from the men.
The two, whose identities are being withheld, remain in police custody pending further investigation.
