Firearm seized after shoot-out on West Avenue

ST ANDREW, Jamaica — The Hunts Bay Police yesterday seized a Glock pistol with four rounds of ammunition on West Avenue, Kingston 13.

Police reports are that lawmen were on patrol duties around 8:05 pm when they were confronted by an armed man who opened gunfire at them.

The police returned gunfire.

The gunman reportedly ran leaving his weapon which was retrieved by the police.

No injuries or damage to property were observed.
