Five injured in Portmore Toll Road crash

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Five people were injured early this morning and rushed to hospital following a motor vehicle crash along the Portmore leg of the Toll Road close to the Free Zone complex.

Information about the cause of the crash is still unclear at this time as police are still gathering information

The crash caused a massive traffic pile up along the normally busy thoroughfare linking Portmore to .Kingston

"I was passing this morning and I saw where a vehicle involved in the crash ran over a railing along the roadway," a motorist told the Jamaica Observer.

The man who claimed to be an eyewitness said the incident took place at around 6:00 am.

Reports are that two of the victims are seriously injured.
