Flash Flood Warning lifted

KINGSTON, Jamaica - The Flash Flood Warning which was in effect for the entire island since the weekend has been discontinued.

The Meteorological Service says the warning, put in place especially for low-lying and flood-prone areas, ended at 6:00am today.

The trough, which brought heavy rainfall and resulted in widespread flooding, has weakened and moving away from the island.
