Fraudulent Manchester Parish Council cheques in circulation

Mandeville, Manchester- The Manchester Parish Council is advising members of the public that fraudulent cheques drawn on councils account are being circulated.

The cheques are allegedly drawn on the Council’s account at the National Commercial Bank (NCB) Mandeville branch.

The parish council has advised that cheques marked: ACCOUNT #1 ROADS & WORKS DEPARTMENT - should not be accepted.

Persons seeking further clarification are encouraged to contact the Council’s administrative offices at 962-2278-9 or 962-0612.
