Ganja field destroyed in Clarendon

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Five hundred pounds of cured ganja was seized and several acres of marijuana destroyed in Clarendon yesterday.

Reports are that the May Pen police were conducting an operation in the New Longsville community between 11:00am and 2:00pm when the find was made.

Approximately two acres if fully grown ganja and fifty pounds of seedlings were also found and destroyed.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
