Ganja worth $8m seized in St Elizabeth

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Marine police officers based in St Elizabeth seized a quantity of ganja, which is estimated to worth $8 million on the streets, at the Praped Beach in the parish early this morning.

Reports are that about 12:15 am, a special operation was carried out at the beach where several men were seen running from the area.

The beach was searched and 57 knitted bags of ganja was seized, the police reported.

No one was arrested in connection to the seizure.
