Gas prices down $0.47, diesel down $0.33

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and a decrease in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, October 4, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.

87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $116.81 and $119.65 per litre, respectively, down by $0.47 each.

Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $114.51 per litre following a decrease of $0.33 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $0.13 and will be sold for $120.10 per litre.

Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.25 and will be sold for $95.72 per litre. Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $51.08 per litre, up by $0.20 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $55.27 per litre after an increase of $0.49.

Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
