Herbert ‘Dago’ Gordon is dead

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Herbert ‘Dago’ Gordon former Trench Town High School and Boys’ Town standout footballer and cricketer has died.

Gordon who represented Jamaica in football at the senior level and cricket as a schoolboy in the 1970s was in a coma for the last five days OBSERVER ONLINE has learned.

Gordon died on Sunday at about 10:00am at the Kingston Public Hospital. He was diabetic.

Boys Town contemporaries of Gordon include Carl Brown, former Reggae Boyz coach; Derrick ‘Shastri’ Denniser; Lloyd ‘Respic’ Morgan, former Jamaica goalkeeper; Milverton Brooks former Jamaica captain and Allie McNab.
