Husband suspected in murder of St Elizabeth woman

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica – Police say a woman has died from gunshot wounds and her estranged husband taken into custody following an incident at Seaview, close to Southfield, southern St Elizabeth early Friday.

Reports say the woman, identified as Moylyn Williams-Toppin, who was a transport operator – driving children to and from school - was about to enter her vehicle minutes after 6:00 am when she was shot.

Sources say her estranged husband had recently returned to the island.
