Hydel's Salmon takes third record at Champs 2014

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Hydel High School's Shiann Salmon Thursday morning took the third record to be broken at the 2014 ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships when she won the Class 3 high jump with a new height of 1.78 metres.

The previous record of 1.77m was set by Janeive Russell in 2009.

Wednesday night Holmwood Technical’s OBrian Frith set the second record at Champs this year in winning the 2000m steeple chase.
