KINGSTON, Jamaica — The International Cricket Council (ICC) has called on India TV to provide evidence of its match-fixing claims following the just concluded World Twenty20 competition.

It’s aware of allegations that several umpires were willing to influence match outcomes, the Council said in a release earlier today.

However, it said that none of those named were involved in official World Twenty20 competition, which the West Indies won.

The body added that it has  “zero-tolerance towards corruption whether alleged against players or officials” and would offer no further comment on the matter.
