KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) in consultation with the Premier League Clubs Association (PLCA) has agreed to dissolve the Professional Football Association of Jamaica (PFAJ).

The PFAJwas established in 2008 as a joint venture body between the JFF and the PLCAto administer the running andoperations of the local Premier League.

The JFF said the two bodies in coming to a mutual agreement, concluded that the original objective for the establishment of the PFAJ could now best be achieved without a third body.

“Both entities will continue to meet to finalise the roles of the two entities going forward. On conclusion of these discussions all stakeholders will be advised accordingly,” the JFF said.
