Jamaica, USA women clock identical 42.29 to advance to 4x100 World Relay final

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Jamaica and the USA clocked identical 42.29 seconds in their respective Heat to advance to the Final of the 4x100 at the World Relay underway in The Bahamas.

The Jamaicans, minus ace sprinter Shelley Ann Fraser Pryce in the Heats, have the edge with the expected inclusion of the Olympic champion in the Final.

Great Britain also won their Heat clocking 43.20 to ensure a position in the final. Other qualifiers are France, Brazil, Nigeria, Trinidad and Germany.
