KINGSTON, Jamaica - Jamaican motivational speaker and author Paulet Biedermann has taken her empowerment campaign to the Canadian airwaves with the Your Best You Show with Paulet Biedermann on FM 98.5 CKWR.

According to a release from the Toronto radio station, the talk show will address issues 'that are pertinent to young families regarding parenting problems, relationship issues, post-secondary education, women in politics, health and overall topics that are conducive to the well-being of our community'.

The show, which broadcasts Tuesdays between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm, debuted on January 15.

This is a renewal of the Your Best You Show with Paulet Biedermann. It was previously broadcast on the smaller CKMS 100.3 FM community station.

Biedermann is looking forward to making an impact with 98.5 CKWR which has over 2.4 million listeners.

"It gives me a broader audience to help humanity. It is a platform to fight things like racism and bullying, and help abused women and the marginalised," she told the Jamaica Observer.

Biedermann was born in the western Jamaica parish of Hanover but has lived in Canada for over 30 years.

Her work as a mentor and motivational speaker in the Greater Toronto Area has not gone un-noticed.

She is the recipient of several high-profile awards including the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Award and the Ontario Government’s Medal of Good Citizenship.
