J'can woman arrested in The Bahamas for larceny

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Reports have surfaced that a Jamaican woman was nabbed by the police in The Bahamas earlier this week following the seizure of a number of stolen items and several pots of suspected ganja plants.

According to reports from Tribune 242, police and immigration officers who were acting on information went to an area in Abaco off Ernest Dean Highway on Tuesday where the stolen items were found along with ten pots of suspected marijuana plants.

The 46-year-old Jamaican woman who was found in the area was subsequently arrested and further investigations led to 50 more marijuana plants being found.

A 44-year-old Bahamian man was subsequently arrested along with the Jamaican.
