SEVERAL Caribbean Airline customer service workers in Kingston and Montego Bay will lose their jobs as the Airline has decided to outsource their jobs to a third party service provider.

Some 150 jobs, 50 in Montego bay and more than 100 in Kingston, are set to be axed.

In a release to the media Caribbean Airlines promised to provide and assist, where feasible, in obtaining alternate employment for persons affected by this process and employees will be remunerated in accordance with industrial practice.

"We are committed to providing a quality service, and we are confident that this decision will impact positively on our operations, as we will emerge even stronger as a leader in regional aviation,” Acting Chief Executive Officer Robert Corbie said.
