KC trounce Ardenne 11-0 in Manning Cup match

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Kingston College (KC) trounced Ardenne High 11-0 and secured their fourth consecutive win in Group B of the Inter Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) Digicel Manning Cup at the Stadium East field this afternoon.

Oneeko Allen and Ronaldo Robinson grabbed three timers while Dwayne Atkinson notched a brace. Allen netted in the 13th, 31st and 57th minute taking his tally to eight goals from four games while Robinson scored in the 16th, 21st and 33rd.. Atkinson, who started with Trayvone Reid out, scored in the 23rd and 24th minutes.

Nathan “Kante” Thomas registered his first goal for KC converting a 39th minute penalty as KC led 8-0 at the half. Substitute Cody Smith netted in the 66th minute and Renato Campbell curled a free-kick in the 89th minute and completed the rout.

It was KC's fourth win and they consolidated top spot in Group B with maximum 12 points. The Purples have now scored 28 goals from four games averaging seven goals a match. They are yet to concede a goal.
