Man, woman killed in Trelawny, police seek person of interest

TRELAWNY, Jamaica — The Falmouth Police are investigating a double murder in Freemans Hall, Trelawny, which occurred earlier today, Friday, October 11.

Dead are 27-year-old taxi operator Courtney Bailey, and 50-year-old Sophia Bryan otherwise called Carol, both of Freemans Hall in the parish

Reports are that about 10:30 am, residents found the bodies of the deceased in the bathroom of a one-bedroom dwelling and summoned the police.

The police have named Garfield Edwards otherwise called 'Milo', also of Freemans Hall, as a person of interest in relation to the matter. He is being asked to turn himself into the police by 6:00pm, on Monday, October 14.
