Man charged for murder of Trelawny farmer

KINGSTON, Jamaica - One man has been charged in connection with the August 29 murder of 31-year-old Derron James, otherwise called ‘Borda’, a farmer of Lime Tree district in Trelawny.
According to the police the man, who has been identified as Mark Wilson, was charged by detectives Friday following intense investigations into the incident.
He is to appear before the Falmouth Resident Magistrate Court on Wednesday, September 19.
Meanwhile, the Falmouth police have reassured members of the slain man’s family and the wider community that they are “working assiduously to bring all those responsible to justice”. The police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist the investigation to contact them at 954-3073, Crime Stop at 311 or Police 119 emergency number.
