Man killed in Spur Tree accident

MANDEVILLE, Manchester — The Mandeville police have confirmed that a motor vehicle crash on the Spur Tree Hill main road this morning has left one man dead.
According to reports, a truck descending the hill developed brake problems after which the driver lost control of the vehicle.
A sideman reportedly had his legs crushed when he jumped from the moving truck. The man later succumbed to his injuries, police reports say.
