Man’s body found in car trunk

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Detectives from the St Andrew South Police Division have stepped up their search for those responsible in the shooting death of a 25-year-old man whose body was found along Hagley Park Road Thursday night.

The dead man has been identified as Gregory Cooper of a Kingston 20 address.

Police report that the body of the man was found with several gunshot wounds inside the trunk of an abandoned vehicle.

"Police were alerted to the area a search was conducted and the body was found," a police source said. A motive in the killing is yet to be ascertained.
