Man who killed Jamaican woman dies after drinking poison

THE Vincentian man who chopped a 31-year-old Jamaican mother of three in Barbados is dead.

He has been identified as Anthony Michael Searles, 44, of Gemswick, St Philip.

Searles was captured by Barbadian cops at a house at Wotton, Christ Church about 7.45 pm Monday and told the cops that he had swallowed poison.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he died.

Searles attacked Notoya Ewers and hacked her to death near her home in Gemswick, on Saturday night.
