Man arrested in St Ann gun find

ST ANN, Jamaica — A man was taken into custody following the seizure of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition during a police operation in Belair Housing Scheme, St Ann yesterday.

The Runaway Bay police said that about 10:00 a.m, lawmen were conducting operations in the community when a premises was searched and a Taurus .38 Revolver along with one 9mm cartridge was seized.

The occupant of the house was taken into custody, however his identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
