Man killed, 2 others injured in shooting at St Elizabeth bar

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — The police are reporting that a man was shot dead and two others shot and injured on Main Street in Junction, St Elizabeth by unknown assailants yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Kevin “Veteran” Campbell of a Bull Savannah address in the parish.

Reports from the Junction police are that patrons were at a bar about 7:00 pm, when armed men entered and opened fire before escaping. The police were summoned and on arrival, Campbell and two other men were found with gunshot wounds.

The three were taken to the hospital where Campbell succumbed to his injuries, while the others are undergoing treatment.
