Man killed in Santa Cruz crash

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Investigators assigned to the St Elizabeth Police Division are probing the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision that claimed the life of a man on the Santa Cruz main road this morning.

Dead is 26-year-old Davian Robinson, mechanic of Burnt Ground district, Santa Cruz, St Elizabeth.

Reports from the Santa Cruz police are that about 1:00 am, Robinson was driving a Honda Integra motor car from Braes River heading towards Santa Cruz.

On reaching a section of the roadway, he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and collided with a Ford Cargo motor truck, which was heading towards Mandeville.

Robinson sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
