Mechanical fault causes water problems in St Thomas

ST THOMAS, Jamaica — The National Water Commission is advising customers in sections of St Thomas who are served by the Goodyear Well that the disruption they are currently experiencing in their water supply is a result of extensive mechanical problems at the facility.
Areas affected by this interruption in service include Morant Bay, Lyssons, Prospect, Retreat, Duhaney Pen, Rosselle, Stanton Road, Highbury, Seaforth, Alexander Park, Springfield, Dumfries and surrounding areas.
