Men flee leaving car, ganja

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Several bags of ganja were seized by the police in Downtown Kingston this morning.

Reports are that the Kingston Central Police, early this morning, signalled the driver of a Toyota Corolla motor car to stop when he broke a stoplight along Spanish Town Road.

 The driver disobeyed and vehicle was later intercepted on North Parade at about 1:15am.

The occupants of the car fled but were caught after the police gave chase.

A search of the vehicle turned up the ganja .

The identities of the men were not released by the police.

Investigations continue.
