Miss Jamaica World heads to China

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Miss Jamaica World 2018, Kadijah Robinson departed the island yesterday for Sanya, China, where she will represent Jamaica at the 68th staging of the prestigious Miss World Pageant.

The grand coronation of Miss World 2018 is scheduled for December 8 and will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Hainan Island in China. Miss Jamaica's trip to China was made possible through the sponsorship of the Jamaica Tourist Board and Fontana Pharmacy.

Robinson, 23, received her crown on September 1 at the Grand Coronational Spectacular held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Kingston from Solange Sinclair, who had served as Miss Jamaica World 2017.
