Motorcyclist dies after crash in Negril

ST JAMES, Jamaica -- A 32-year-old hotel worker who was injured in a motor vehicle crash on Norman Manley Boulevard in Negril, Westmoreland on the weekend has succumbed to his injuries.

He is Balvin Christie of Good Hope, Negril in the parish.

The Negril Police say that about 6:30 pm on Sunday, November 17, Christie was riding a Zhejiang motorcycle along the roadway when it collided with a Suzuki Jimny motorcar that was reportedly negotiating a turn. 

Christie sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital, where he died about 7:00 pm Tuesday.
