NHT commits $27m to fix Boone Hall roads
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The National Housing Trust (NHT) and the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation (KSAC) have partnered to repair roads at the Boone Hall housing scheme in St Andrew.
Roads in the scheme have not been maintained by the KSAC since completion in the late 1970s.
The Trust will now rehabilitate the infrastructure and has committed $27million to do the work under the supervision of the City Engineer.
A total of twelve roads in the scheme will be rehabilitated.
The Boone Hall scheme, comprising 232 solutions, was financed by the NHT which distributed the units to contributors.
