Newborn found in Old Harbour KFC

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The Old Harbour police are seeking the public's assistance in re-uniting an infant with her family after she was found in a Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) restaurant in Old Harbour, St Catherine over the weekend.

The baby is of brown complexion and appeared to be about three days old at the time.

Reports are that about 6:45 pm on Saturday, residents saw the infant wrapped in a multi-coloured blanket in the bathroom of the restaurant and summoned the police. On the arrival of the lawmen the child was taken to the hospital.

The lawmen are now appealing to anyone with relevant information to contact the Old Harbour police at 983-2255, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
