Nude body of unidentified woman found in St Ann

ST ANN, Jamaica — The body of an unidentified woman was found naked with multiple stab wounds, in Phase 2, Runaway-Bay, St Ann yesterday.

Reports from the Runaway Bay police are that passersby stumbled upon the nude body about 6:45 am and alerted them. On their arrival, it was seen lying on its side with multiple stab wounds.

The scene was subsequently processed and the body removed to the morgue.

Detectives assigned to the St Ann Police Division are now probing the circumstance surrounding the woman's death.

Meanwhile, the police are asking anyone with information that can assist them in identifying the body to contact the Runaway Bay police at 876-973-7057, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.

The lawmen did not provide a description of the body.
