The police have revealed that the 19 illegal firearms that were yesterday found at the Kingston Freeport Terminal in Newport West arrived at the facility in a shipment from United States of America. Full story here

A photograph of a defaced Marcus Garvey bust at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona surfaced on Twitter early this morning, just two days after the country celebrated National Heroes' Day and mere hours after a Bill was passed in the House of Representatives to absolve Jamaica's national heroes from criminal charges. 4. Haitian arrested for ganja smuggling in St Catherine

Police say they have arrested a 22-year-old Haitian after he attempted to smuggle 1600 pounds of ganja with an estimated street value of over J$6.5 million. Full story here
