An argument turned deadly after a man was chopped to death reportedly by his son yesterday morning in the Rose Hall district of Clarendon.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is reporting that a warrant of arrest has been prepared for Omar Collymore following investigations into the death of his wife, Simone Campbell-Collymore and taxi operator Winston Walters.

A tsunami warning test was accidentally sent as a real alert to the phones of residents along the US East and Gulf Coasts and the Caribbean on Tuesday — just weeks after a false missile alert triggered panic in Hawaii.

4. Pathologist outlines cause of death for St Thomas six

The trial of Michael McLean this morning heard that Jihad McCool, the six-year-old girl who was among six family members murdered in 2006, was smothered to death and was found with her eyes bulging and tongue protruding through her teeth.

5. Four people wanted in St James surrender

Four individuals who were recently listed as wanted by the police in St James, turned themselves in yesterday, the police have reported.

6. MOCA charges 6th hacker

Detectives assigned to the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) is reporting that a sixth person was yesterday charged with breaches of the Law Reform (Fraudulent Transaction) (Special Provisions) and the Larceny Acts.

7. 'Disgraceful' that man illegally in US killed athlete — Trump

President Donald Trump says it's "so disgraceful" that Indianapolis Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson was killed by a person who is in the US illegally.

8. Security guard shot dead at Kingston bar

A security guard was killed and two other people injured in a gun attack at a bar on Elletson Road in Kingston last night.

9. St James cop charged after removing bike from police compound

A police constable charged with breaches of the Larceny Act was offered bail in the sum of $250,000 when he appeared in the St James Parish Court last Thursday.

10. Portia, 4 other PNP members to take Trafigura case to Privy Council

Attorneys for former Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller and senior officials of the People's National Party (PNP) will on Tuesday outline arguments to have the so called “Trafigura affair” case go before the London-based Privy Council.
