Dear editor,
Quite apart from their investments in Jamaica, the Chinese have a massive contribution to make to this island in terms of quiet civility, efficiency, discipline and competence.

Look at the difference between the road constructed by them in comparison to most done locally.

After years of totally useless, and doubtless expensive attempts to fix a drainage problem on Mannings Hill Road, our local ‘workers’ have dug up the road, abandoned it and left this important road blocked off and useless for the past month without the slightest evidence of any work being done.

Please prime minister, ask the Chinese to complete this project and I have no doubt that we will have our road back permanently repaired within a week or less.
