KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR) today announced the appointments of Cedric Wilson and Cheryl Lewis to the position of Deputy Director General.

The OUR, in a release today, said the two were appointed by Prime Minister Andrew Holness, upon the recommendation of the office, to serve three-year terms.

The appointments took effect on February 1 this year.

Lewis and Wilson will now join Maurice Charvis in the post, bringing the total number of deputy directors general at the OUR to three.

Prior to his appointment, Wilson served as director of regulation, policy, monitoring and enforcement at the OUR, the most recent of several positions he has served in since joining the organisation in 2004.

Lewis in the meantime joined the OUR as Deputy General Counsel in October 2010 and has served as General Counsel to the OUR for the last six years prior to her appointment.
