Boeing's stock plunged eight per cent Monday morning as aviation authorities in China, Indonesia and Ethiopia ordered airlines to ground their Boeing 737 Max 8 planes the day after one crashed in Ethiopia, killing all 157 people on board.

Chief Justice Bryan Sykes has committed to instituting measures to further improve service delivery across the judicial system.

6. Uchence Wilson trial: Witness says he got $40,000 after gang robbed his female relative

A former gangster this morning testified that he and members of the Uchence Wilson gang carried out a robbery at his female relative's home in St Ann, where they stole a large sum of US dollars and items such as bath soaps and body sprays.

7. Arthur Williams appointed J'can high commissioner to T&T

Well-known politician and attorney-at-law, Arthur Williams has been appointed as Jamaica's new High Commissioner-designate to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

8. Uchence Wilson trial: Cop collected guns from gangsters after robbery in St Mary

The Crown witness this morning testified that a police officer had showed up in St Mary to collect guns from a member of the Uchence Wilson gang after they had allegedly robbed a fruits vendor.

9. Cayman Airways grounds aircraft following deadly Ethiopian Airlines crash

Cayman Airways has joined a number of international carriers in suspending their use of their new Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, following Sunday's deadly crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 that killed all 149 passengers and eight crew members.

10. Raheem Sterling hailed as one of world's best by Kompany

Vincent Kompany has hailed Manchester City teammate Raheem Sterling as one of the best players in the world after his 13-minute hat-trick in the 3-1 win against Watford.
